Topaz
Lovingly missed by Mary Pat Parkhill
Born: December 21, 1993 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: December 16, 1999

Topaz, would leap above a field of wheat looking for critters.
She almost got the host of a party slapped in the face by a female guest
after she goosed the guest. Would roo at my raspberry (the sound).
Would poke me in the back if I took too long to get ready for our walks.
Did doggie bows for a butt scritch.
She smiled while her tail propellered. She sat naturally.
Loved to play and taught her older 'sister' Brindle how to play.
Had the softest pink tummy I will ever know.
When she laid on the couch next to me, she always needed to have her paw on me.
She was my soulmate. Although my second greyhound, she was my favorite.
But such a short 3 yrs. Liver disease ravaged her body quickly.
It took one month from diagnosis to death. I have never felt such pain.
My heart is broken and will remain that way
until I go get her at the Rainbow Bridge.
I love you and miss you Punkin' Pie.

Crystal, you were our best friend and went with us everywhere.
We will always remember the long walks we went on and all the parks we visited.
You were a great ambassador for rescued greyhounds
and I am sure other greys got homes because when people saw you,
they wanted a best friend of their own.
I hope you and Henry are having a good time in pet heaven
and are getting along okay. We hope to see you again some day.

Maverick
Lovingly missed by Michele Rebeor
Born: January 29, 1992 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: April 21, 2000

Maverick left this earth exuding as much dignity and grace
as when he lived on it. He is with us all in spirit
and he has let me know in subtle ways that he is watching over us.
I am sure he is ruling the "greyhound heaven"
and chasing cats and little dogs till his heart's content.
I am also very thankful that Maverick was able to effect
so many people's lives. The pain of his loss will lessen,
however, he will never be forgotten.
It has been my true privilege to be part of his life and he part of mine.
I love you "boo boo."
