Sascha

Born: September 22, 1994 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: June 9, 1998

Waarom al dat vechten
Waarom al die pijn
Je wilde hier niet weg
Je wilde bij ons zijn
De strijd was oneerlijk
En geheel niet terecht
Je wilde nog graag verder
Maar verloor dit gevecht
Ik denk nog iedere dag aan je
Ik mis je allerliefste Sascha

Snug
Lovingly missed by Kathy Walsh
Born: 1988 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: October 15, 1999

THINGS SNUG TAUGHT ME

It’s OK to cry when you hurt.
Sometimes whining works!
Do something you think you can’t.
Look at the world with the eyes of a pup.
When someone who loves you tries to help – let him!
Don’t give up. A bad life can get better.
When you don’t feel good – share a cookie.
There are good & kind people in the world.
Enjoy yourself. Live right now.
Don’t be sad for the tomorrow that isn’t here yet.
Even when you don’t feel good, you can still play.
Hugs, kisses, licks help make things better.
Remember - this hurts so much because we really loved.
Welcome a new joy & a new sadness into your life.
It’s harder to let go than hold on.

Snug, I love you. I will miss you every day until we can play again.

Madalyn
Lovingly missed by Don Weiss
Born: August 1993 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: November 20,1999

Madalyn ran her last race in the spring of 1995.
She came to live with me two days after her rescue.
Up until the time of her death she was my faithful and loving companion.
Though her time with me was brief, I know that she was happy.
She will remain always in my heart as my sweet girl.

Lovingly missed by Laureen Vinicombe
Born: April 1996 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: August 18, 2002

God sent us one of His most precious gifts when
you came into our lives morning of October 20, 1998.
You filled our marriage & family with such joy, comfort and peace.
God read what was in my heart when I prayed for a loving companion
because you were not like any other greyhound that we had known.
You were vivacious, energetic, and I believe it was because of your unique
personality that you won Blue Ribbon at the picnic
- not just because of your perfect red-brindled rich coat and perfect physique.
Tide your eyes told us all.
You loved to love, your head nudges, paw slappin, little cries accompanied
by a little "whoof" told us that you were our
"Child from God" during our time together.
Please know that we wanted for you so much to play with our new baby boy.
We miss you so much, but please know we still
think and love you within our daily thoughts.
We look forward to meeting you again in
heaven so I can press my lips once again against your forehead.
I miss hugging and kissing your belly, so I cannot wait to do all that too.
Please know that we cannot wait to show you our little son who you
sacrificed your ending pain for when you mysteriously,
but divinely passed two days prior to his arrival.
God had a plan and it was you in the beginnings of our marriage,
as we will all be joined again together when our marriage arrives in heaven.
I'll always love you, Tide.

Lambie Pie
Lovingly missed by Tina & Bob Wiepert
Born: July 3, 1996 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: December 10, 2004

Holding paws, those big brown eyes,
snuggles, smiles and kisses just because...
you were there for us when our lives needed you the most.
Like an angel comes into your life
to guide you at just the right times.
You were there. But your job here is done. Now on to the next.
You were our strength, our hope, our love.
You gave so much of yourself to so many people.
So many love you so much. We'll miss everything about you.
We'll always carry you in our heart.
A garden of flowers awaits you here.
A hole in our hearts will always be open for you.
Our beautiful little girl. Our Munchkin. Our princess.
Please wait for us. We'll miss your smiles
We love you forever, Mom & Dad
