Hampton, the joy you brought to our lives is without measure.
We wouldn't have missed a moment of our short time together.
You are eternally loved, and your smile will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, and may we one day find peace for all your Greyhound brothers and sisters.

Rogue, we came to each other when we all needed it most.
We wouldn't have missed a moment of our short time together.

Rest in peace and what a comfort it is that our

We miss you sweet Timex. Cancer took you from us.
You are now with your adopted sister, Penny. Your pain is gone.
You had touched thousands of lives as an ambassador
to help promote the adoption of retired racing greyhounds.
You loved being with people.
Your sisters Tap and Tiny, adopted sister Charm,
and adopted brothers Eddie and Gus are going to miss you.
We love you and miss you. You were our "buddy".
Gus
(Gusto Gold)
Lovingly missed by Bob and Pam Mowery
Born: July 10, 1993 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: April 24, 2000

Gus, you were "The Shy One". In the adoption kennel,
you would stick to the back of your crate.
As adoption volunteers, we would crawl in the crate
with you and give you the love you deserved.
No one wanted to adopt you. Pam and I fell in love with you
and decided to foster you.
We knew you would not be going back to the kennel.
You would join our other adopted greyhounds.
When your adopted sister Penny died, you became the leader.
At home you were not shy. You were so proud as
you strutted around the yard with your ears up.
Then cancer struck. We caught it early.
We had your leg amputated and you were given chemotherapy.
You were happy trotting around on three legs.
Then tonight, you stood up and then collasped.
You were gone in seconds.
Your adopted sisters Tap,Tiny, Charm, Nala and
your adopted brother Eddie are going to miss you.
We love you and we miss you.
Goodbye sweet Gus. We will see you at the Bridge.

But you took my heart and I kept you instead. Only to lose you a few days later during surgery.
I know you knew I loved you. Your sweet little face, only 20 months old.

miss you, too. But I know you are happy at the Rainbow Bridge and someday we will all be together again!
