Chewy
Lovingly missed by Dave and Darlene Riden
Born: December 5, 1991 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: June 7, 2000

Let me share with you this love of mine, always and forever.
When you need me,know that I am here.
I have not left you, for I am in your heart
where I belong. Our love is eternal, as is
the brilliant glow of candlelight which
illuminates the path to the heavens and Rainbow Bridge. I wait patiently, as do
you, for our inevitable and glorious reunion.
I love you.

Chrissy
Lovingly missed by Janny Planting
Born: March 1, 1990 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: July 30, 2000

She was the best medicine to residents at a nursing home when she was adopted in 1995.
For 4 years she worked with me at the facility on a daily basis.
Upon a recent visit to the nursing home, residents remembered her,
but not me, now that tells you how important she or animals
are in the nursing home settings.
She spent lots of time on the weekends going to storefronts
and was admired by many, due to her beauty (blue brindle),
personality(laying down any where she could).
She welcomed many other greys in her house,
either as new adopted ones or as fosters that needed to learn
how to be an housepet. Due to her calm personality
many adopted part of her calmness and made it easier
to be adopted to families looking for a greyt pet.
Thank you Chrissy you were my first and there is no one like you.
I know many will follow in my home,
but you're the one and only, my teacher.

Twinky
(Red Wake)

Lovingly missed by Agnes Paulus
Born: April 26, 1986 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: June 10, 2001

Dear friend, Twinky, I know that you always wanted to be my favorite.
Now, I can tell you that you were!
Even though I adopted Star Light and you together,
my first two Florida greyhounds, you treated her like your buddy.
So, even though I never said that you were "my favorite", so as not to hurt
Star Light's feelings, please rest knowing that I miss you every day.
Because of your sweet companionship you propelled me into
volunteering to help your other retiring cousins. It is my privilege to do so.
You gave me so much! Til we meet again...
Star Light
(JCK Star Light)

Lovingly missed by Agnes Paulus
Born: December 29, 1987 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: March 29, 2001

Dear friend, Star Light, you came into my life when I adopted you and Twinky together.
My first two Florida greyhounds.
A dear GPA Rep, Jean, brought you both up from Florida to me.
This was at a time when the greyhound adoption network
was still being created by unselfish volunteers.
Jean picked you to come to New Jersey.
Your sweet, laid-back, unruffled nature, made you such a dear friend!
You were a year younger than Twinky and you were so fit and atheletic.
Just for fun, you enjoyed lure coursing, and chasing that silly plastic bag.
But, that is what God made you to do. Run fast.
Because of you, and Twinky, we volunteered at Meet and Greets.
You absolutely enjoyed all the hugs, and pets, and of course the treats!
I still fondly remember the little children cuddling on the M&G blanket with you.
Dear Star, run free, and watch for me someday...
