SNUFFY STERNBERG

Lovingly missed by Joyce and Bubba Jackson
Born: June 23, 1992 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: October 14, 2004

Snuff-man, run fast and run free…
Your spirit will always live on in our hearts.
Always remember the things we taught you:
don’t gulp your food, don’t drink so fast,
look both ways before you cross the street, don’t stick your nose into EVERYTHING!
And we will always remember the things you taught us:
take chances--wonderful things do come in BIG packages;
BIG is better and 97# is just the right size for a cuddle-bug greyhound.
And most importantly, love never dies.
We'll meet again at the Bridge.
MISTY DEE

Dee, I saw the rainbow you sent today and I understand.
Run fast and free, sweet girlie.
We'll see you at the Bridge.

Carmen Dog, My Carmen Dog,

We loved you and your fluffy neck and miss you very, very much.

Whizzer

Lovingly missed by Anne & Oscar Cale
Born: June 1994 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: November 17, 2007

We loved you from the time you came home to us from the track.
You were so special, funny, dedicated, loveable and the best buddy we could have.
We had so many memories with you to hold dear to us.
You became sick with bone cancer and I couldnt watch you in the pain you were having
even though you didnt show it so I had to make a choice to let you go free, free of pain.
I held you till the end and told you to run free,
run as fast as you can and you let me know you heard me
by moving your front paws as if you were running again.
I told you to run free faster and faster and you moved your
front paws once again for the final time.
We miss you baby, always remember us and run free now.
Till we meet again, We Love you my buddy,
my friend and as I always told you, you're the love of my life whizzy.

Midas Thierheimer

Lovingly missed by Jerry & Peggy Thierheimer
Born: June 11, 1994 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: March 14, 2007

Midas the Golden boy passed suddenly.
Big heart gave out, and will be missed by companion grey Luc.
Preceeded by white shepard-Cleo, greys Stubby, big boy Josh, and cat PK.
My home loses a fast furry friend and a loved pet.
As a greyhound ambassador, Luc and Midas went on 2 Stage productions
at Repertory Theatre St.Louis in 2000,'Royal Family'
a mainstage show both starred in walk on parts.
Midas and Luc shared billing in 2nd 2001 show -'The Gamester".
Hopefully their appearance found greys homes and raised awareness of the racing greyhound.
To me and my family they were loved as just my pet furbabies.
As always, my babies are welcome in my dreams....

Tucker

Lovingly missed by Michael & Stacie Bollon
Born: April 1997 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: October 10, 2007

Tucker, Keota Tucker GPA Wheeling was a big strong dark brindle male.
Late September 2007 he was diagnosed with lymhposarcoma.
He was sent to the rainbow bridge Oct 10th.
We miss him os very much, he was a very vocal dog with a wonderful personality.
RIP, we miss you so much.

Boligee Sy

Lovingly missed by Jeanni Davis
Born: April 27, 1991 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: January 31, 2003

Fly with gossamer wings to the bridge, my sweet baboo.
You were the instigator. Not for trouble,
but rather, for my starting this greyhound business.
The fostering, the M&G's, the adopting, the art, the vending...
all of it. If it hadn't been for you being there then, I wouldn't be here now.
I owe everything I am today to you, my sweet boy
and you will be remembered for all of my life.
Hawthorn Hawk

Lovingly missed by Jeanni Davis
Born: September 23, 1990 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: October 2, 2000

Hawkie died from complications a week after he was attacked by another dog.
He was one of the sweetest, oldest souls I have ever known.
He went to the bridge four days before our annual pilgrimage to Dewey Beach.
It would have been his first trip there.
Even though he passed 7 years ago, his memory is still fresh in my mind and the love has only grown stronger.
Wait for me, my love.
I'll be there some day to walk you all across the bridge to Heaven.
Woody O'Day

Lovingly missed by Jeanni Davis
Born: March 28, 1991 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: October 21, 2002

A better friend, no one could ever find.
Woody was sweet, red and completely forgiving.
He ran at Ebro and was a victim of hurricane Andrew.
He came to me fresh off of the truck to our adoption group
in the very first load of dogs from Florida.
His ears stood straight up and he he was as funny a guy as they made him look.
I loved you then, I love you now and I will always.
Wait at the bridge with Sy, Geno, Hawk, Patches and Moses.
For I will be there at the end of my days
to walk you across the bridge, my wonderful Woody boy.
Cheyenne Hart (Patches)

Lovingly missed by Jeanni Davis
Born: April 13, 1993 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: November 05, 2005

Patches was our first girl greyhound.
She made quite an impression even though her top weight was only about 55 pounds.
She stepped right in and put the 110 pound doberman, Malachi right to the ground.
She was a quiet girl, unassuming and also my very first therapy dog.
She visited hospitals and nursing homes without argument and always
had a smile for children, old folks and frankly, anyone with a kind word for her.
She was also known as Her Royal Majesty Grand High Exhaulted Emporess Patches.
That's just the way she carried herself and she earned the title!
I'll miss my good girl Patchie, with all the love I have to give.
Waubun Mr. Moses

Lovingly missed by Jeanni Davis
Born: March 11, 1999 ~~~ Crossed to the Bridge: June 26, 2006

Moses was a very special boy.
He was registered as a red fawn, but he was closer to a blue fawn.
He came to me as a foster back in 2003. I loved him then so much,
I was torn as to wether to keep him or let him go to another home.
I let him go and the people who adopted him loved him for two years.
Finally, they decided that since their lives had changed
and they worked more than they were home, it would be better for Moses to give him back.
I took him again and he stayed right here.
This boy wasn't going anywhere!
Alas, eight months after he came home again, he was diagnosed with bone cancer.
Four months after that, he was gone.
Moses had accompanied me to work where I am a dog trainer nearly every day.
He made a lot of friends there and it saddened the
whole canine owning community to hear of his passing.
Words cannot express how much I miss that big goofy boy.
I'm just waiting for him to send me a new GH soul to love.
